Happy National Popcorn Day!! Popcorn is one of my family’s favorite snacks. I created this adorable “You Make My Heart Pop” printable download to go with these delicious and easy Valentine’s Day popcorn balls. The popcorn balls were super easy to make and the kids had fun helping and adding the sprinkles. You could change the sprinkles for different holidays.

While you bag of popcorn is popping melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
-
Once melted add the marshmallows and stir until smooth.
-
Add in the white chocolate chips.
-
Remove from heat.
-
Filter out the popcorn kernels like I did in the video below.
-
Then add the popped popcorn into the marshmallow chocolate mixture.
-
Gentle stir to combine.
-
Add in the sprinkles and stir some more.
-
Form the popcorn into balls.
-
Add extra sprinkles if you would like.
Here is the video on how to remove the unpopped kernels before adding them to the marshmallow/chocolate mixture. This is really good to do, especially if kids are going to be eating the popcorn balls.
Wouldn’t this make the most adorable valentine’s day goodies for your kids to hand out to their classmates?
I put the popcorn balls in small ziploc bags so they would stay fresh for longer. Then attached the You Make My Heart Pop tag using pink twine.
