Raise your hand if you are looking for a simple, healthy, beautiful, and delicious breakfast. I used to indulge with pancakes, donuts, toast, and sugary cereal but with the new year just around the corner, I have decided to start my mornings on a better note with Greek Gods Greek Yogurt. My favorite way to enjoy it is in yogurt parfaits. When food is pretty it makes it more enjoyable to eat. I love making these for my family and myself because you can easily customize them to what each person likes.
Get creative with what you have at home to make delicious yogurt parfaits. Here are a few of my favorite things to add.
Yogurt Parfaits with Almond Butter
Greek Gods Greek Yogurt – I used honey, but you could use another flavor. They have honey vanilla, plain, strawberry, and black cherry.
MaraNatha Almond Butter – This is my favorite almond butter. No stir and so creamy. You can get this in crunchy and with no sugar added.
Frozen Fruit – I used the berry & cherry mixture. It had strawberries, blueberries, and cherries.
Granola – The extra crunch is so good.
Honey – If you want a little extra sweetness added.
Sunflower Seeds – For more crunch.
Chocolate Chips – Find the sugar free to keep this healthy.
Mix it up with what you like. For my yogurt parfait, I used greek yogurt, almond butter, fruit, and granola.
I found the Greek Gods Greek Yogurt in the dairy aisle, in the yogurt section, on the lower shelf.
The MaraNatha Almond Butter was found in the peanut butter section on the top shelf.
What does your family enjoy in your yogurt parfaits?
You could make this greek yogurt fruit dip recipe. Substitute the vanilla yogurt with the honey yogurt, and add the almond butter instead of the peanut butter, then leave out the honey.
