Have you tried Parent’s Choice Diapers from Walmart? We have and we love them! I can get a box of 108 diapers for $20 which is approximately $0.18 per diaper. Where other brands are 120 diapers for $35 which is approximately $0.29 per diaper. That is about $0.11 saving per diaper. That adds up quickly! You could save up to $240 annually if you switch to Parents Choice diapers. That is huge for us especially having a son with special needs that will be in diapers for quite awhile.
what is in my diaper bag?
Parents Choice Diapers | Wipes | Towel | Bib | Snack | Milk | Ibuprofen | Medicine Dropper
Of course we have diapers and wipes. I carry a full size towel because Carsyn makes quite a bit of mess while eating and drinking. He also can’t hold his own cup so when I can’t hold it for him we use a towel to prop it up for him. Carry an extra bib again because Carsyn is a messy eater. I have his milk and favorite snack, cheddar cheese crackers. Plus, ibuprofen just in case. I always carry a medicine dropper because his baclofen and gabapentin use a dropper. Those I carry separately because they need to be kept cool. In my car I also carry extra diapers and wipes in case I forget to refill my diaper bag.
Here is Carsyn, isn’t he just the cutest? Things aren’t always easy being his mom because of all his medical needs, but he sure makes it worth it.
Carsyn has done great using these diapers. They are very absorbent and fit him really well. He has a pretty tiny waist and legs, so sometimes it is difficult to find diapers to fit him. I am happy we found a diaper that works for us and can save us money.
