This post and Summer rules printable are sponsored by Netflix as a member of their #StreamTeam.
The boys are just returning to school from Spring Break. After a week without any type of schedule or rules I realized we really needed something structured for Summer Break. I made this free Summer rules printable to use in our house and I hope you can use it also.

I am all for lazy days watching Netflix, especially some of the shows below. They have a lot of great teaching moments, but I realized that they can’t spend all Summer in front of the TV.
They will probably fight me on this for the first few days, but I know they love structure. This is going to be a compromise between what they want and what I want, so we will be watching the Fuller House season 1 episode 2.
Also love this video that Netflix made about parents and kids watching 13 Reasons Why. I watched it and I thought it was really great. My kids are too young to watch it, but communication is something I really want to have with my kids. I want them to be able to come to me for anything and everything. I never want them to feel alone or feel that desperate.
Jump into spring with family time on Netflix. Whether you’re in the mood for new series or a Hollywood blockbuster, grab the whole family and make lots of popcorn because you won’t be able to stop at just one.
The Secret Life of Pets (4/22), Happy Feet (5/1), Kazoops! Season 3 (4/28), Spirit: Riding Free (5/5), All Hail King Julien: Exiled (5/12)
Do you set rules like this over the Summer so that they can keep some sort of structure?
