As many of you know I am pregnant with baby boy #3. We are so excited to welcome this new baby into our home early November. This is my first pregnancy over the Summer. I feel like this means I need to be extra careful and drink plenty of water. I wanted to share some ways that I am staying hydrated while pregnant this Summer.
Staying Hydrated While Pregnant
Drink 64oz. of Water Daily
You want to drink at least 64oz. of water daily. When you are on the go this may become more difficult. If you are anything like me you are picky about water. I can’t just drink any water. Therefore, using a Brita Water Bottle will help you stay hydrated even on the go.
Eat Plenty of Fruits & Vegetables
A good thing about being pregnant in the Summer is a lot of fresh fruits and veggies! Yumm! Fruits like watermelon (my fave!), apples, oranges, and grapes have a ton of water. Vegetables high in water include cucumbers (my fave!), tomatoes, green peppers, and romaine lettuce. Both great options to add more water to your diet.
Bringing water and a snack with me while out and about helps me make healthier decisions. I started out rather big this pregnancy, therefore I want to gain less weight this time around. It is really important I drink water and eat out less. This Brita Water Bottle helps me with my goals.
I found this in the hardware section of my local Walmart. It is with the other Brita products like the water pitchers, and faucet filters.
