I was sent a Splashy Bath Seat in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Splashy Bath Seat | Adaptive Equipment

As Carsyn gets older, longer and bigger it has made bath time more difficult. Kenny does most of the bathing because I have a hard time getting him in and out of the tub. We have been laying him flat on the bottom of the tub and only putting an inch or two of water in the tub. It always made his baths quick and not very fun.

Several times in the past we have thought about getting a special needs bath chair through insurance but every time we looked at them they were heavy, bulky and sat high above the water. We don’t have room for them and I knew we would end up not using it.

I was so excited to see that Firefly was coming out with a bath seat. All of their products are well made and they do a ton of research on what parents actually need and want. The Splashy bath seat does not disappoint.

The Splashy portable bath seat is light weight, sits low to the ground, and has a ton of recline settings. It fits a pretty big range of kids (the age range stated is 1-8 years old). When you take the seat off it doesn’t take up much room at all. Plus, the colors are great and the seat itself feels really comfortable. Not like the hard plastic you normally see.

Carsyn can sit up pretty well in the Splashy bath seat so we do not need to use the harness, but it does come with the seat if you need it. You have the option to do a 5 point harness or 3 point harness. We use the bumpers on the side and right under his bum, that keeps him from sliding down.

I am so excited to use the bath seat this Summer at our local pool that has a shallow end.  Be sure to follow us on Instagram for our Summer adventures.

Splashy Bath Seat Information:

Splashy is a portable bath seat for kids with disabilities. It makes their bath-time a ton of fun and a lot easier for grown-ups.

It’s a portable, lightweight and supportive seat that works for bathing or messy games wherever you go. You can even take it outside for messy games, or on your next roadtrip to granny’s house.

Little bath buddies get more space to play together now. Splashy is really compact and sits nice and low in the bath, so it uses less space and less water. And it gets better for mums and dads too. Now that you can lift and store Splashy easily, there’s no bulky equipment permanently hogging the tub anymore. You’ve got your bath back!
