Hello thank you all for stopping by. I am so glad to be a co-host with Branson for the Christmas Cookie Countdown. New cookie recipe each day and a new co-host every day. Today I am going to share my Snickerdoodles Recipe. I love these cookies because they are so light and fluffy.
Snickerdoodles Recipe
Snickerdoodles Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Butter softened
- 1 1/4 cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 3 Tbs. Sugar mixed with 1 tsp Cinnamon
Instructions

In large bowl combine butter & sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Add Eggs, beat. Mix well.

Stir in baking powder, salt, and flour. Mix until dough stiffens.

Chill dough 30 minutes.

Roll into walnut sized balls. Roll it around in the cinnamon sugar. Then place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Also sprinkle with a little extra sugar/cinnamon mixture before baking to get a little extra color on top.

Bake at 400 Degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool and you are all done.
