Thanks Ollie World for sending me a Swaddle. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Even though Annelyn is our 4th baby I still struggled to get a tight swaddle with the blankets at the hospital. Over the years we have tried several different swaddles. I was so excited to try the Ollie Swaddle with Annelyn because I heard it was the smarter way to swaddle.
Before being born newborns spent their entire life in a tight space, when they come into the world it is huge, so swaddling helps them feel safe. In turn that makes them sleep better. The Ollie Swaddle, is known as the smarter swaddle. It should be the last swaddle you ever need.
The Ollie Swaddle is custom fit using velcro, which means that is will grow with your baby. You can use it to transition through three different stages: both arms in, one arm out, and both arms out. Each stage takes place as your baby becomes more mobile and starts rolling over, but they are still looking for that tight security. The Ollie Swaddle has custom designed moisture-wicking fabric to reduce the risk of overheating.
The Ollie Swaddle is really easy to use. You place your baby in the middle of the swaddle. The shoulder blades should be placed along the wavy bump. The swaddle should be placed below the shoulders. Visit their website for more information on how to use the swaddle.
At night Annelyn is giving me 5,6, and even a 7 hour stretch here and there. During the day when she is swaddled she sleeps for about 3 hours. Which is amazing.
At the bottom of the swaddle there is an easy opening to make diaper changes a breeze. You can change their diaper without taking the whole swaddle off. Check out my post on other great baby products you need.
