I love spending Summer evenings outside watching the sunset, and having family dinner picnics. It is extremely hot and humid during the day, therefore we try to go outside in the evening when it is a little cooler. This Ocean Sensory Bin is perfect for an evening backyard picnic. You can enjoy Back to Nature Mac & Cheese for dinner and sensory play.
Dustyn loves any and all sea creatures. When I told him I was making an ocean sensory bin he was super excited. He is always touching and feeling different textures, so he thought this was great. He needs that sensory input to help keep him calm.
Make Your Own Ocean Sensory Bin
First, put aquarium rocks in the bottom of the bin, then use the uncooked noodles from the Back to Nature Mac & Cheese collection. I used regular, Silly Sea Life, and Spirals. Next, I added sea creatures, coral, and seaweed. You could also use water beads instead of the aquarium rocks. I plan to use them next time. Dustyn had fun digging through the sensory bin while enjoying a bowl of Back to Nature Mac & Cheese.
Mac & Cheese is my favorite quick meal because it is creamy, delicious and so easy to make. My boys love it too. I feel better serving the boys Back to Nature Mac & Cheese because it is a good source of calcium and protein, plus there are no artificial flavors, preservatives, or synthetic colors.
I found Back to Nature Mac & Cheese at Target in the boxed dinners aisle.
