Recently we received a Montessori Home Subscription Box from Monti Kids. I was so excited to open it up and dive into the world of Montessori. I had heard about Montessori before and I loved the concept but I never knew where to start. That is where Monti Kids comes to the rescue. They take all the guess work out and guide you every step of the way.
Once every three months Monti Kids sends a box straight to your home. The box includes a new set of toys for your child’s next developmental stage. They have 8 levels total, starting from birth all the way up to 3 years old.
Since Annie is almost 15 months old we started with Level 5, which is geared toward kids that are 14 – 17.5 months old. Prestyn really enjoyed playing with these toys also, even though they are geared towards kids Annie’s age.
The box & Montessori toys are designed and created by internationally-certified Montessori educators. Manufactured in an award-winning factory that uses only sustainably-forested wood, non-toxic paint, and 100% recyclable packaging. This is so awesome!
One of the things I like about Monti Kids is they don’t just send you the box and leave you stranded. They give you a guide telling you how to introduce the toys to your child, along with videos online. Monti Kids give you access to personalized support, classes, and a private community moderated by internationally-certified Montessori experts.
They have a video that explains how to set up your play space for you Montessori toys. They want you to use a low shelf so that your child can easily pick a toy to play with and then put it back on the shelf when they are done. Independence is a big part of the Montessori curriculum.
