Lately I have been experimenting with the Lomo Actions by Life-n-Reflection. I love that these actions are different then how I normally edit. It helps me to expand my horizons and try something new. The other day I went outside and took some random photos of Dustyn’s toys, our air conditioning unit, and some weeds. I thought they would be the perfect candidates to apply the Lomography look. Her set comes with six different customization actions.
Six Lomo Actions by Life-n-Reflection
The first lomo action is really light, airy. It finishes off with a blue tint layer. Would be perfect to use during winter.
The second lomo action is darker and has a nice vignette border around the outside. It is tinted a pink/purple color and would be stunning on your Spring photos.
The third lomo action is pretty dark to give you a night time effect. I used it on this lonely, little gumball. Suited it perfectly.
The fourth lomo action has a really deep blue tint. I lightened mine up a tad because it was a little too dark for Dustyn’s face.
The fifth lomo action has a purple tint and is quite bright. I think the dark border around the photo really adds to the action.
The sixth lomo action has a wonderful green tint. It also has a light/hazy gradient fill layer at the top that can be adjusted. Another one that would be outstanding for Spring photos.
The Lomo Actions were very easy to install and use. If you are new to photoshop you can download her Photoshop Action Quick Guide.
