This post is sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc., but the content and
opinions expressed here are my own.

This past weekend we had a casual cookout with our family. I made lemon & herb grilled chicken thighs for the adults and Ball Park® Hot Dogs for the kids.

For the lemon and herb grilled chicken thighs I used the Tyson® Frozen Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs. These make dinner prep so much easier because you can cook straight from frozen.

The only brand of hot dogs my kids like are Ball Park® hot dogs. They are the go to brand of hot dogs for all of our cookouts.

Ingredients

  • 4 lemons
  • 3 sprigs sage, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • olive oil
  • 4 Tyson® Frozen Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl combine the juice from 3 of the lemons, chopped sage, garlic cloves, red pepper flakes and 1/4 cup olive oil. Whisk to combine.

  2. Run the frozen Tyson® Frozen Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs under cool water to remove the layer of ice. Place the chicken thighs in a zipper bag and pour in the marinade. Refrigerate overnight.

  3. Preheat the grill and brush the grates with oil.

  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and sprinkle with salt then place on the grill.

  5. Grill the chicken for 3 minutes and then rotate the chicken 90 degrees to get a nice cross grill marks. Grill the chicken for another 3 minutes. Turn the chicken over and grill for another 5 minutes. Check for doneness.

  6. Serve with the extra lemon.

Our favorite drink to serve is iced tea. It is perfect and refreshing on a hot day. This past weekend we tried the NEW Lipton® Herbal Tea Bags, so delicious.

My favorite was the strawberry watermelon. Kenny’s favorite was the Mango.

The NEW Lipton® Herbal Tea Bags will be available at Walmart soon!

Kenny really enjoys grilling during the spring, summer, and fall. It makes for quick and easy dinners, plus less clean up in the house.

Usually I keep the sides very simple with baked beans, pasta salad, and some chips for the kids.

Every week I use Walmart grocery pickup because four kids makes shopping difficult. I love using the app to add products I run out of, it makes it super easy to not forget anything.

What do you like to grill for your casual cookouts with your family.
