The countdown to summer has started. My kids are chomping at the bit for school to end and summer to start. We recently had a couple of days where the temperatures reached the 80s!
We spent all day outside soaking in the sunshine while doing yard work and playing. The whole family worked up quite the sweat and I knew the perfect cool down drink. My son and I whipped up these amazingly simple KOOL-Aid Easy Mix Slushies!! These take no time at all to prepare.
My whole family enjoyed these!! They stayed cold and lasted a long time. We used fun cups and colorful straws to make them super festive. My kids were tickled pink to get this icy treat!
Summer can’t get here fast enough and I can’t wait to make these all the time. I plan on thinking outside the box and adding fresh fruit and blending different flavors!! This has definitely become a family favorite!
Here are a few things I love about the new KOOL-Aid Easy Mix. You only have to add water, so easy, and you can make it by the glass or by the pitcher. It is a quick and refreshing beverage your whole family will enjoy.
The KOOL-Aid Easy Mix comes in three flavors: Grape, Tropical Punch, and Cherry. My store was all out of Cherry, but I can not wait for that one to come back in stock. Yum!

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup KOOL-Aid Easy Mix in the flavor of your choice
- 3 cups ice cubes
- 1 cup water
Instructions

Grab your trusty blender!

Add water and ice to blender.

Pour in your favorite Kool-Aid Easy Mix.

Blend until you have a slush (add ice cubes as needed)
