This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ andTony’s Pizza, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #tonyspizzeria http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV.
The past few weeks we have had some unexpected expenses come up and just seems like we have been spending none stop. We also have been pretty stressed around here and haven’t had a date night to ourselves. So we came up with an Inexpensive Date Night including Tony’s Pizza, a salad with homemade croutons. Then later popcorn and a movie.
Personally I love just good ole plain cheese pizza. Kenny on the other hand likes anything on it. I picked up one Cheese and one Supreme from Walmart using this coupon. (while supplies lasts)
I decided to make my own croutons because I had some bread I needed to use up. I listed my recipe below, they are really easy to make.
Crouton Recipe: I cut the slices of bread into 9 cubes. I laid out the cubed bread on a backing sheet and sprinkled on the packaged Italian Seasoning, Garlic Powder, Salt. Drizzled on some Olive oil and tossed to coat the bread. Cooked the croutons with the pizza for 15 minutes. If I were to do this again I would have let the pizza cook and then the croutons. Only because it seemed like the bottom of the pizza did not get done enough.
The pizza was not bad for frozen. I can eat cheese pizza from anywhere. Where Kenny is a little more picky about his pizza. He wasn’t a huge fan of this pizza, but I don’t think there is a frozen pizza that he likes.
After we finished our salad and pizzas we decided to enjoy a movie and popcorn. I think date nights at home are just awesome. I was able to stay in my pajamas the whole time.
Grab a coupon to SAVE 75¢ on any TWO (2) TONY’S® multi-serve pizzas (11.04 oz or larger) in the freezer aisle offer. (While Supplies Lasts)
