School days and evenings have been super hectic lately. We are always running here, there and everywhere. We have tried to make more time on the weekends to do activities as a family together. One of our new favorite activities is making our own Goldfish tales.
This past weekend we made a monster truck Goldfish tale and it was so much fun. My boys LOVE all things monster trucks, so this was a great way to combine their favorite snack with their favorite toy. This is a great way for them to play with their food and get creative.
Our little Goldfish was quite adventurous. He went down the ramp like a pro. We have already started planning what we want to do for our next Goldfish tale. I think our next one will be a stop motion video. Those look so fun. Need ideas or inspiration? There is a whole website devoted to Goldfish tales that have been sent in by fans over the past three years using Goldfish crackers. I have to say some of them are pretty amazing!
Tips To Make Your Own Goldfish Tales:
- Grab a big box of your favorite Goldfish Crackers from the store. We love the Goldfish Cheddar Colors Crackers.
- Let your kid pick one of their favorite activities or toys. If you have more then one kid let each kid have a turn at picking the theme.
- Have your kid draw a background scene if they enjoy drawing and coloring, then add the Goldfish Cheddar Crackers.
- Visit Goldfish Smiles for behind the scenes videos and how-to clips.
Encourage your kids to get creative this weekend and make their own Goldfish tales.
What kind of Goldfish tales would your kids create?
