Hello all! I know we don’t official do Tutorial Tuesday every week but I wanted to share some fun family photography tips today.
I have been doing a lot of family photo shoots lately and the photos that the families have loved and I have loved are the ones that show their kids personalities. When you see photos like this, don’t write it off as a “bad” photo.
I think they are the sweetest and when you look back on the photos you will know who your kid was at that age. This girl mom said, “It is adorable. It is her personality to a T. She is my goofball full of personality.”
Take time to get to know the kids and what they love to do. I asked during the session what they liked to do and if he liked to carry her on his back and came up with this photo. One of the last photos from the day and I am in love with it.
I always stand there after we got all the important photos and ask if there was anything else they wanted from the session. Any fun poses that we didn’t get or anything special. I usually end up getting my favorites at this time.
I always love to get the more laid back poses and families having fun. Much better then the sit up straight, angle your head to the left and put your hands on your lap… I wanted to share how I accomplish some of my photos hopefully this helps some of you. Thanks for stopping by today.
