Prestyn had his first day ever of school yesterday. Granted it is only two days a week for a few hours. I thought for sure he was going to scream when I dropped him off, just like he does whenever I drop him off anywhere. Instead he walked right in and started playing without a care in the world. His teacher did say that the first day is usually the easiest, then when they realize what is going on it may be harder. He goes back today so I am a little nervous how his second day will go.
He seemed like he had fun and smiled real big when I picked him up. Normally when I pick him up other places he starts crying but didn’t do that. So I am hopeful that this will help with his separation anxiety a bit. Prestyn is the oldest in his class since he has a November birthday, but I think that will be good as he gets older.
