Our family went to the water front on July 4th to watch fireworks. It was a lot of fun. I took my camera, tripod, remote and my wide angle lens. I ran into a few problems while I was there trying to take firework photos. My remote battery was dead, so it was really slow working. Opps! I guess it lasted awhile.
Family Fireworks
Then I had gotten there 45 minutes early to get a good spot and stood there the whole time. Right when the show started a huge family of kids and adults came and crowded me. The kids kept knocking into my tripod, making my photos shaky. Plus I was very worried about them knocking my camera down. I asked them several times to back away from tripod. Well it didn’t work.
I had to move a couple times and I did not like any of the new places I tried. Also the show wasn’t as great as last year. I did end up capturing a few photos though.
You can see my post from last year with all my fireworks photography tips.
