Spring break has arrived and I have been trying to fill it up with experiences and crafts not just technology. So far it has been a blast. I wanted to share a few family springtime fun ideas.
On rainy days try a subscription crate from KiwiCo
I recently learned about KiwiCo a month or so ago. I got a couple crates for Dustyn and they are so much fun! Have you ever heard of them? They offer art and hands-on science subscription crates for kids from 0 to 16+. KiwiCo crates make it fun and easy for families to spend time learning, building, and creating together. There are seven different types of the crate that each target specific age groups, all of which are based around STEAM learning. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) KiwiCo provides an activity booklet in each crate, plus everything else needed to create the projects.
Our weather was nice, therefore we actually did the Koala crate outside. We are saving the crane from the Kiwi crate arcade box for the next rainy day. In conclusion we really love the subscription crates from KiwiCo. There are so many options and I love that they put everything together for you. No need to run to the store to get needed supplies.

On sunny days get outside and enjoy the weather
We love being outside and I make sure I dress my kids in comfortable clothes. With the weather warming up I was excited to try the breathable cooling mesh bodysuit from Fruit of the Loom. This helps to keep Annie cool and comfortable all day long. You can get this in several breathable gift sets. They also offer a short-sleeve grow and fit body suit that will last up to 6 months! It will fit any baby, any size and is durable.
Go for a swim
We spend a ton of the Spring/Summer swimming so this shampoo and conditioner from SnipIts is perfect for their hair. It helps to clarify and get out the chlorine. Above all, it smells amazing too. Snipits Salon offers kids haircuts and other spa services.
Savings!
During the months of May & June you can get the Swimmer’s Duo for $20.

Enjoy new conversations
Sometimes it is hard to think of stuff to talk about with your kids, besides their favorite video game (cough cough Fortnite) So I used these Lunch Notes from Me! from MyWish4U to strike up a little conversation with my preteen. In other words, it is a great way to chat and learn new facts. MyWish4U offers two different types: Facts & Funnies or Riddles & Giggles. They are so easy to use you just tear one off the pad and put it in their lunch box. You can really use them anyplace, anytime. Try them in the car, at the dinner table, on vacation, or play dates. You can take it a step further and ask them what the fact or joke of the day was. They are only $4.99 for 101 unique notes.
Next week when the kids go back to school I can’t wait to send these lunch box notes. I loved this funny. It said what is a bunny’s motto? Don’t be mad, be hoppy! LOL!
