October has come and gone and the 2017 holiday season has official begun! This holiday season is full of exciting ways to celebrate. Many families are looking for ways to give back in an amazing way. Families with young children want to instill in their kids the importance of giving back, not just receiving gifts this holiday season.
Tackle Kids Cancer provides an great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children with cancer. It is a wonderful way for a child to help another child, and families to help other families. Only 4% of government cancer funding is directed towards pediatric cancer. Childhood cancer is the number one cause of death by disease in children – funding in all forms is crucial.
Being a parent myself I was touched reading their stories and watching their videos. It is such a sad and eye opening experience, knowing at anytime a healthy kid could suddenly be diagnosed with cancer. That is why funding is so important. We need to do more research and learn how to tackle kids cancer.
I loved the story from Matthew, he reminds me a lot of my 3 boys with his blonde hair and blue eyes.
He loves to swim, just like my boys. He even got to meet Eli Manning, which is amazing. Cancer is something no parent wants to see their kid go through, but it is happening every single day. Watch Matthew’s adorable video below about kicking cancers butt.
