Summertime means routines change. Hardly anyone in our house wakes up at the same time, so that means they all eat breakfast at different times. Mornings are hectic between different wake-up times and rushing out of the house to do fun activities with friends. During the week we look for quick breakfast ideas. Cheerios are one of our favorites. Plus, it makes for a super easy summer breakfast. This summer we got to try the all new Blueberry Cheerios available at Walmart! Yummy!
They are fruity and fresh tasting, which means they are perfect to eat on a hot summer morning. It sure does get hot here in North Carolina, and I don’t always want a hot breakfast during the summer. The NEW Blueberry Cheerios start out with a purplish/blue color when milk is added they start to look like regular cheerios and the milk turns purplish. Drinking the milk at the end is my favorite part.
We are on the go a lot during the summer; heading to the splash pad, the pool, or to visit family. It is nice that you can put the Blueberry Cheerios in a bag or snack cup and take them on the go.
Blueberry Cheerios are perfect for the whole family to enjoy this summer. Prestyn prefers his without milk because he has never been a big milk fan, especially in his cereal. He usually asks for a second bowl for his mid-morning snack. Prestyn really enjoys blueberries, so next time I think I might top it with some fresh blueberries.
We will definitely buy these on our next trip to Walmart because the box is almost gone already.
