DIY Snow Globe

I have seen the DIY Snow Globe going around a lot on Pinterest. I had been wanting to make them for awhile and never did. Well, I finally got the time to make them. I decided to do it a little bit differently. This is super simple and a little bit messy, but a lot of fun!

DIY Snow Globe

Supplies Needed:

Mason Jars

Two Lego’s

Super Glue

Mini Christmas Trees

Glitter/Tinsel

Snow

Texture Snow Paint

Directions:

First super glue your mini tree to one Lego. Then glue the other Lego to the inside lid of your mason jar.

(That way you can always switch out what you have inside your jar. This also makes the tree higher and easier to see.)

While this is drying fill your mason jar with snow and glitter. I used blue, silver and gold glitter specks.

Once the super glue is dry, screw the lid on the mason jar.

Take your Texture Snow Paint and paint the lid and a little onto the jar.

Done! Enjoy your new snow globes.

DIY Snow Globe

I really love the look that the texture snow paint gives the DIY snow globe. It makes it look like it is always snowing in the globe. No need to shake anything up.

This is creative! I'm still bugged to see the lid so visible there in the bottom of the globe. Maybe I could make some more decoration to cover it entirely. Great share!

Ha ha. Well it did say on the can you could paint something white and then use the snow paint. Or you could use more layers. I just didn't have enough time.
