Thanks Elf on the Shelf for helping us celebrate national letter writing day and sponsoring today’s post. All opinions are my own.
Our Scout Elf Ralphie returned with a few friends. Ralphie had his new pet, a Saint Bernard, that the boys named Snoopy, and Santa sent an extra Scout Elf since we are expecting a new addition. The boys decided to name him Randy after Ralphie’s brother in A Christmas Story, which is where Ralphie got his name.
Our Scout Elves brought the boys the Letters To Santa kit. You can read more about the kit here.
This is the perfect way to celebrate national letter writing day.
Dustyn was able write his own letter. He even drew little pictures to go along with what he wanted.
We had Carsyn and Prestyn color on their letters then we wrote their lists for them.
Here is Prestyn watching the letters shrink. Make sure you read all the directions that came with the kit and follow them carefully.
Once they are all done writing their letters and you have shrunk them down using Mrs. Claus’ Magic Press you place them beside your scout elf and they take the letters off to the North Pole for Santa to read. Then they bring the letters back and you can keep them as ornaments to enjoy year after year. It will be fun to look back and see what they wanted.
I think the boys letters to Santa turned out super cute.
