BBQ Dry Rub Grilled Pork Chops

School is out for the Summer. YAY! Lots of evenings have been spent outdoors, playing and grilling in the backyard. One of our favorite things to grill is Fresh Boneless Pork Chops at Walmart. I have been searching for a good recipe to make BBQ dry rub grilled pork chops. I combined a few different recipes to make my own.

BBQ Dry Rub Grilled Pork Chops

We like to grill potatoes at the same time. For the potatoes we cut them into 1 inch slices, boil them on the stove for 5-10 minutes, you want them tender but not falling apart. We then brush the potatoes with butter, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook until you get good grill marks on the outside.

These turned out so delicious and tender. I can’t wait to make them again.

BBQ Dry Rub Grilled Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 8 Fresh Boneless Pork Chops
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl.

  2. Coat the pork chops with the BBQ dry rub.

  3. Put them in a zipper bag and refrigerate for 1-6 hours. Pull out about 20 minutes before you are planning to grill.

  4. Fire up your grill to medium-high heat.

  5. Grill for about 10-15 minutes. Turn onto each side twice, rotating the chops a half turn each time to get criss-cross grill marks. Check the temperature, 145° will give you a moist pork chop with a slightly pink center.

The nice thing about fresh boneless pork chops is you can make pork chop sandwiches with the leftovers. Yumm!

We put a piece of cheese on the pork chop and heated it up, added a little mayonnaise to the potato roll, and served it with a side salad.

I grabbed everything I needed for this recipe using Walmart® Grocery Pickup. This is seriously my favorite way to shop, especially having four kids.

Walmart® stands behind the quality of their meat with a 100% freshness guarantee. Walmart® offers the freshest selection and a wide assortment of cuts that are always fresh, 100% All Natural and proudly raised in the USA. They know quality means freshness and variety, so they’ve partnered with national brands to ensure their products are all natural and hand selected for quality.

We love grabbing Fresh Boneless Pork Chops at Walmart and using them in several different recipes. Besides grilling we like to cook them in our instant pot.

What is your favorite way to cook pork chops?
