Dustyn has become a huge helper lately. He has been asking to do chores to earn a little extra cash for toys and games that he wants. I decided to make a chore chart printable.
Here is what his chart looks like. Having a chart that tells him what we expect from his has been a huge help. It keeps him on task and I feel like I don’t have to nag him all the time.
Some of his chores are to feed the dogs and give them water. He also helps by picking up his toys everyday, putting his clothes in the dirty hamper, and making his bed. He also enjoys clearing the dishes off of the table.
When he helps it takes some of the stress off of me and gives him a sense of responsibility. I love that I can teach him to do things for himself. That way he can be independent when he grows up.
