Need a last minute teacher gift idea? I have one for you today. You probably already have the supplies needed for this ball mason jar teacher gift right at home. I know I did. The only thing that took much time was waiting for the paint to dry. I am a very impatient person when it comes to waiting for paint to dry.
Ball Mason Jar Teacher Gift
I found this ball mason jar teacher gift idea over on Lil’ Luna. I followed her instructions on how to make a vintage mason jar. The only differences were I used can chalkboard paint and yellow paint instead of spray paint. I used sandpaper to scrap off the paint instead of my fingernail. I felt it was much faster, and easier that way.
The other difference was I used Pear Tree Greetings to make my tag. The tag I used was Sip Something Cool. You can customize the fonts and the colors on that back to match your theme. I thought the chalkboard like tags were the perfect addition to this gift.
You could also use the mason jar to give the teacher flowers, or other school supplies like markers, colored pencils, highlighters, etc. I think it turned out awesome. I plan to make myself some vintage mason jars for my home. Maybe mixing it up with a couple different colors.
Have you decided on a teacher gift? Are do you wait till the last minute like me?
Disclosure: I am a Pearista, so I recieved the tags for free in exchange for my post. No other compensation was given. All opinions are my own.
